CAN YOU WAIT TOO LONG? (Mark 6:14-29)
Sunday Mar 10, 2013
Sunday Mar 10, 2013
We live in a society that promotes acting now before it is too late. Items that we want go on sale so we rush down to the store to beat the crowd. Ads proclaim buy now while supplies last. There is so much noise, so many offers, that we become desensitized to the messages. When companies call us on the phone we screen our calls using caller ID. We don't answer the phone hoping that they will stop calling. God is knocking on the heart of the unbeliever. God wants everyone to be saved. Not just some elect group of people, but all people. God loves you and He wants you to have eternal life. So God knocks, and God waits. He never barges down your door. He never forces His will upon you. He just knocks and He waits. The question is how long will God wait? Can you wait too long before God stops knocking and walks away? Listen to this podcast to find out if a person can pass that invisible line of God's mercy to God's wrath. Can it ever be too late to accept Jesus as your Savior?

JOHN'S MESSAGE (Mark 1:4-8)
Monday Oct 15, 2012
Monday Oct 15, 2012
Our world is in need of repentance. It needs to turn away from religion and turn towards Jesus Christ. This is the message that John the Baptist had for the Jews of his day. They needed to repent and turn away from the rituals of Judaism and return to the God-given faith of their fathers. Their baptism was a symbol of this repentance. Mark tells us of John's baptism of repentance, and then he tells of the coming of the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit. Listen and rejoice as we learn of the difference between John's baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

THE SPIRIT REVEALS (1 Cor. 2:9-16)
Wednesday Jul 18, 2012
Wednesday Jul 18, 2012
How does God reveal Himself to man? Man perceives the world around him through his eyes, ears, and mind. Man sees the world around him, yet the Scripture tells us that since the beginning of the world our eye hath not seen certain things. We have not seen the spiritual things that God has for us. Man hears the world around him, yet the Scripture tells us that since the beginning of the world our ear hath not heard certain things. We have not heard the spiritual things that God has for us. Man's mind is limited by what he can conceive of, prove by experimentation, or hypothesize about, yet the Scripture tells us that since the beginning of the world that our heart has not solved certain things. We have not solved the mysteries of the spiritual things that God has for us. Therefore, God uses the presence of the Holy Spirit within the heart of the believer to reveal Himself. Listen to the attached podcast and rejoice as Paul describes how God reveals Himself to man.

Sunday May 20, 2012
Sunday May 20, 2012

Rejoice as you listen to how Paul describes the power of the believer, the life of the believer, and the way God protects His messenger.

GOD'S WISDOM (1 Cor. 1:21-24)
Tuesday May 01, 2012
Tuesday May 01, 2012
Are you looking for God?
Well, God has a plan to reveal Himself to you, and He has had this plan since before the foundation of the universe.
God knew you before the world was created, and God loved you. God loved you so much that He sent His Son to die on a cross for your sin, just so He could offer you eternal life.
This is God’s wisdom. God will use your Christian friends, the church, the evangelist, the preacher, and the missionary to tell you about God’s love for you. He will use the Bible to tell you about what Jesus has done for you.
Most of all, God will use the Holy Spirit to prick your heart, to convict your heart of your need for God, and to reveal the sin in your life that separates you from God.
If you want to find God, then all you have to do is accept His offer. Ask Jesus to become your Savior and you will know what it means to have the one true almighty God living in your heart.
Listen and praise God’s wisdom and love for us in this verse-by-verse discussion of 1 Cor. 1:21-24.

TO BE RECONCILED (2 Cor. 5:17-21)
Thursday Apr 26, 2012
Thursday Apr 26, 2012
Do you hate God? The answer to this question is yes for many people in this world. When sin entered the world a state of enmity was created between man and God. But all of the hatred is on the side of man, not God. God does not hate you, He loves you. Listen and rejoice to the description of three great Biblical truths:
1) How God reconciled the world to Him by sending His Son to die for the world's sin.
2) How you can become a new creation in Christ
3) How the baptism of the Holy Spirit changes the new believer forever.

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD (2 Cor. 3:17 to 4:2)
Tuesday Feb 21, 2012
Tuesday Feb 21, 2012
The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of grace. It is unique from the religions of the world in that it does not require a person to live by a set of rules to obtain salvation. When other religions say do this, Christ says done. Christ has already done all of the work for your salvation. All you have to do is call upon the name of Lord Jesus Christ and accept the salvation that He has provided. This is the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is preached by every Christian in the way they live their lives and the words that they say. Rejoice as Paul tells us about God's grace and our release from the legalist's rules and rituals in this verse-by-verse study of 2 Cor. 3:17-4:2

Monday Jan 30, 2012
Monday Jan 30, 2012
Do you know how to discern God's will and then apply it to your life? In this verse-by-verse study of 2 Cor. 2:5-13 Paul describes how the Holy Spirit leads us. How He leads us in dealing with those believers that have strayed from the will of God. How the Holy Spirit works in conviction of the fallen brother, and how He leads us in our efforts to reconcile that fallen brother. How He leads us in the path that we are to travel. How He leads us as He opens doors for our lives and He closes doors for our lives. Listen and learn how to discern God's will for your life.

THE THREEFOLD WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (2 Cor. 1:21 to 2:4)
Sunday Jan 22, 2012
Sunday Jan 22, 2012
Have you been signed, sealed, and delivered, by the Holy Spirit of God? Is the Holy Spirit of God living in your heart today? In this lesson Paul provides us a description of the threefold work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the believer. He will describe the Holy Spirit as God's symbol of the integrity of His promises to us. He will describe the Holy Spirit as our Comforter, and our Enabler. He gives us God's endorsement, and His endowment. We will also discuss the four ministries of the Holy Spirit that occur at the time of the believer's acceptance of Christ as their Savior. These four ministries are the regeneration, the indwelling, the sealing, and the baptism, of the believer by the Holy Spirit. Listen to this verse-by-verse study of 2 Cor. 1:21 to 2:4 and learn about the work of the Holy Spirit in your heart.
