ABRAHAM CHOOSES (Genesis 12:9 to 13_8)

One of the great Biblical themes that is taught over and over in Scripture is the effect of the choices that we, as Christians, make between choosing to follow the will of God in our lives and the things of this world. The fact that the believer even has a choice to follow the will of God is an often misunderstood blessing of our salvation.
You see, the lost person has no such choice to make. He is a slave to Satan, and he must follow the will of his master. His only choice is between heaven and hell. Between making Christ his Lord and Savior, or keeping Satan as his master. Once the decision is made to accept Christ’s offer of salvation, the person is freed from the bonds of slavery to Satan and sin. They now have a daily choice between serving God or serving Satan. They have the blessing of being able to daily choose God’s will for their lives, instead of Satan’s will.

GOD BLESSES MAN (Genesis 2:1-25)

Today, we are going to talk about two topics; the first is God’s rest. This is an interesting Biblical concept that I want you to know about because it really has tremendous application to us. Next, we are going to talk about how God established Adam, and then blessed him with a perfect home, a perfect job, and then a perfect mate. For all those social workers and psychologists that believe that man’s sinful behavior is simply a result of a person’s environment, this should be their prime example of how wrong they are. Unfortunately, man doesn’t sin because of his environment, man sins because he chooses to sin.
Click on the link below to hear a message where God is describing the ideal marriage. It took place in the perfect spot to live, each with the perfect job, and most of all with the perfect mate. It was planned by God, blessed by God, and created by God. If we do not have this today, it is only because we have strayed so far, as a race, from the perfect will of God.

IS IT OK TO GET A DIVORCE? (Mark 10:1-12)

Is it ok to get a divorce? The modern world that we live in would say, yes, when two people no longer want to be married, they should feel free to get a divorce. Our religious establishments would say, no, the marriage relationship is permanent and should not be broken. They go even farther and condemn those that do get a divorce and expel them from the church. These churches treat those who have gotten a divorce as second-class citizens. They forget that God is a gracious and forgiving God. Our Creator, the almighty, living, God, created the institution of marriage to be between one man and one woman, and when that marriage is conducted in accordance with God’s will, it is the sweetest of experiences for that man and woman. In fact, when two married believers have their eyes on God, that marriage is the closest thing to heaven that can be found on this earth. Unfortunately, man allows sin and hardness to enter into that relationship. Once there, that sin and hardness creates a desire for the two people to separate what God has put together. Listen to this podcast to learn what God says about marriage, divorce, and remarriage. Listen to how the Bible answers the question of Is it ok to get a divorce?
