WHEN DOES MAN’S LAW SUPERSEDE GOD’S LAW? (Mark 6:53 to 7:13)

WHEN DOES MAN’S LAW SUPERSEDE GOD’S LAW? (Mark 6:53 to 7:13)

March 31, 2013

In the coming days the U.S. Supreme Court will render a decision that could destroy for this nation God's institution of marriage as that being between one man and one woman.

So the question becomes, when is it ok to place man's law above God's law?

It is a fact of history that the founders of our country used Biblical Judeo-Christian values and morals of right and wrong to establish the laws, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights in the creation of our country. They had a strong belief that man's law was subservient to God's law.

As a segment of our country has chosen a different set of values and morals that they wish to impose on this country, they have declared that the founder's beliefs are out of date, unenlightened, and do not meet the needs of a new socially elite, and enlightened, society. So they have decided that man's laws are superior to God's laws.

They have declared the right to ignore God's laws and replace them with man's own cleverness.

Listen to this podcast to hear what Jesus had to say to a nation that made the same choice that the U.S. has made.  Listen as Jesus, the Creator of all things, condemns the arrogance of man to say that man's law supersedes God's law.

Do you have someone to watch over you as you go through the problems of life?

Do you have a resource with enough power to call upon when you are in your darkest moments?

WHO CAN SATISFY YOUR DESIRES? (Mark 6:30-44)

WHO CAN SATISFY YOUR DESIRES? (Mark 6:30-44)

March 17, 2013

Who, or what, do you depend on to satisfy the desires in your life?

Most of us would answer this question by saying our job. The motivation for you to get up each and every morning to go to work is so that you can earn a wage that you will use to satisfy your desires. We depend on our hard work to satisfy our desires.

Others would say they depend on the government to meet their needs. They look to others to supply their wants and needs.

Listen to this podcast to learn how Jesus used the miracle of the 5,000 to teach us that He is the One that a believer should be depending on to satisfy all of their desires

Your job will fail you. We have all learned this lately.

The government will fail you. Others will fail you.

But Jesus never will. Jesus is the bread of everlasting life.

CAN YOU WAIT TOO LONG? (Mark 6:14-29)

CAN YOU WAIT TOO LONG? (Mark 6:14-29)

March 10, 2013

We live in a society that promotes acting now before it is too late. Items that we want go on sale so we rush down to the store to beat the crowd. Ads proclaim buy now while supplies last.

There is so much noise, so many offers, that we become desensitized to the messages. When companies call us on the phone we screen our calls using caller ID. We don't answer the phone hoping that they will stop calling.

God is knocking on the heart of the unbeliever. God wants everyone to be saved. Not just some elect group of people, but all people. God loves you and He wants you to have eternal life. So God knocks, and God waits. He never barges down your door. He never forces His will upon you. He just knocks and He waits.

The question is how long will God wait? Can you wait too long before God stops knocking and walks away?

Listen to this podcast to find out if a person can pass that invisible line of God's mercy to God's wrath. Can it ever be too late to accept Jesus as your Savior?

THE WHEAT AND THE TARES (Matthew 13:24-43)

THE WHEAT AND THE TARES (Matthew 13:24-43)

March 4, 2013

As a believer, you have been placed in this world as the ambassador of Jesus Christ. Your mission is to share the gospel of Christ.

Satan hates everything that God does, so he has placed his own agents in the world right alongside the ambassadors of Jesus Christ. Their mission is to dilute the message of the gospel of Christ. They are to deceive those who hear the message of Christ with their own version of it. They are to destroy the message of the gospel of Christ.

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares is a story from Jesus that describes the world that we live in today. How God's messengers are hard at work, and what Satan is trying to do to stop it.

Listen to this podcast to discover how believers are to respond to the work of Satan's agents and what will happen at the time of the harvest.
