Who Is My Judge? (1 Cor. 4:1-5)

Who Is My Judge? (1 Cor. 4:1-5)

March 27, 2011

Who is it that can judge you?  Who has a voice that can make a difference in the way you act, the things that you work on, and the things that you feel are important?  Who is it that establishes for you the absolute truths about what is right or wrong?

Is it your conscience?  Is it your wife or husband? Is it your friends?

In today's lesson, Paul is going to talk about who his judge is and who the Christian should be allowing to determine what is right or wrong for them.

This study is a verse-by-verse study of 1 Corinthians 4:1-5.

Are you facing a tragedy in your life, sickness, depression, or loneliness?

This podcast is about the secret that only believers possess, How to be fearless in a fearful world.

Paul is going to tell the Corinthians that, by placing their faith in men, they are bypassing the single greatest secret possessed by the believer.  He will tell them that the power to face all of these things comes from the knowledge that they are Christ’s, and that Christ is God’s.

This study is a verse-by-verse study of 1 Corinthians 3:18-23.

Does the believer care about the rewards or position that they might receive at the Judgment Seat of Christ? If there is no envy or pride in heaven, is it important to even worry about the rewards? This is a good question.  In this week's lesson we talk about how God's Word answers this question. As you listen to this, I want you to challenge your perspective on the question.  Are you looking at the question as it relates to what you receive, or what the Lord sees and thinks about what you have done? This study is a verse-by-verse study of 1 Corinthians 3:14-17.  It discusses the question of why do we want to be found faithful at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

To Know The Will of God

To Know The Will of God

March 6, 2011

As a church we are seeking the will of God.  We are asking the question, how do we become the light unto the city that God wants us to be?  How do we bring more people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ?

Each of us as a believer is seeking the will of God for our lives.  Are we doing what God has planned for us, or are we doing what we have chosen for our lives?  Are we touching the people around us with the gospel message of the cross?

This is a study on how to discern God's will for your life.
